Silversea’s Dual Arrival in Port Melbourne: A Historic Day at Station Pier

Port Melbourne welcomes a landmark moment today as Silversea’s Silver Nova and Silver Moon arrive together for the first time. Station Pier comes alive with live art, music and seaside celebrations, while both luxury ships prepare for their evening departures.

On Sunday November 30, Port Melbourne welcomes a rare and remarkable moment in Australian cruising as Silversea’s Silver Nova and Silver Moon arrive together for the first time. This dual-ship visit marks a significant milestone for luxury travel in our region, highlighting Port Melbourne’s importance as a gateway to world-class voyages.

Station Pier comes to life this weekend with a vibrant celebration presented by Ports Victoria, Visit Victoria and the City of Port Phillip. Local artist Tom Gerrard has been creating a large-scale ground mural on the forecourt, painted live across Saturday. As both ships berth this morning, the artwork is nearly complete—inviting Silversea guests to add their own messages from 12pm to 2pm.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, Melbourne’s seven-piece brass ensemble Horns of Leroy will roam the pier, bringing a lively soundtrack to the celebrations.
