Poppet Making Workshop at Magick of Artemis

A poppet is a cloth figure made to stand in for a person in a spell, and at this workshop at Magick of Artemis in Port Melbourne you sew and dress your own from fabric, thread, natural fibres and embellishments laid out on the table.

Dominion Witch Tehani hosts, walking the room through where the poppet sits in the history of witchcraft before teaching the spell that brings the finished figure to life. It is pitched at every level, no prior craft or practice is needed, and you leave with the poppet you made. Places are limited by the size of the room.
