Oaks Day Lunch at The Gilroy is a race day sitting at the Bay Street bar and eatery in Port Melbourne. The ticket covers canapés on arrival, a three course shared lunch and a drinks package for the whole sitting, so nothing further is charged at the table.

Live racing plays on the big screen through the afternoon, Moogy Morgan plays between races, and there are prizes for the best dressed man and woman. Seats are held with a $75 per person deposit, refundable up to 72 hours before the day, with the balance requested in the final week.
